I want to keep this a secret

Part of me wants to keep this a secret because it’s so powerful but the whole world needs to experience this life changing App.

I started using Brian’s PSE Pro training for running last September specifically for Ultra distance running. I’ve seen so many improvement and PB’s even winning my last 50k, largely by improving running technique and efficiency then comes the breathing practise.

I’ve been waiting for Brian to join all the dots, I k ew this was coming and man have I seen major improvements, I don’t even know where to begin, maybe recovery rates? especially being able to sprint a hill to max HR for 2 mins and have it drop back under 100BPM in less than a minute WOW,

The state App has helped and is unreal, so simple to use. While I’ve been practicing breath work for around 8 months this is the tool I needed packaged in a neat little App.

Thank you 🙏 thank you 🙏 thank you 🙏 I’m excited about the future and at 41 years old I’m getting faster by the week.

Breathing made simple

There is so much about breathwork out there nowadays and so much advice and so many different techniques that it can see overwhelming. Sometimes you just want simplicity and this app is that. A joy to use and customised to your level it’s so easy to follow and get into a regular practice. The visual design is super appealing and also really adds to the experience.

Great app apart from reading the clipboard

Great app. Simply there isn’t anything as good as this one for breathing.

The problem I have is: it reads whatever it’s in the clipboard with no need for it. No idea why or how that is shared and with whom.
You may think that’s not much of an issue but I had some sensitive information I copy & paste from my Mac to my phone when I opened the app and it read it all. I contacted the developers and they told me reading the clipboard is a necessary function of the app and only a very selective few have access to this information. They also told me a new version will come out soon with this ‘bug’ fixed … I’m still waiting for it. Sorry fellas but I cannot use an app that is using unnecessary privileges to access information that it shouldn’t.

Again: great app but unfortunately it access to information it shouldn’t access and that to me is a serious breach of trust.

Developer Response ,

Hello! Thank you for the great review on our breathing protocols.

As for the paste from clipboard, this is a built in functionality within the Firebase Dynamic Links SDK which is used to improve the reliability of post-install deeplinks. At the point the app was built and published, the library didn't have a proper way to configure this functionality, and it was before iOS14 was released.

This issue is solved in the newest version of state, being released in the very near future (we are in the final stages, so very soon).

You can read more about it on the official Firebase Dynamics Links Here:
https://firebase.google.com/docs/dynamic-links/ios/receive
on point 5 under the headline "set up Firebase and the Dynamic Links SDK.

Hope this answers your question and don't hesitate to reach out if there's anything.
